The Primal Egg is a special pet egg added in Grow a Garden during the Pet Mutation update on July 12, 2025 (Update 1.14.0). It features a white shell with a brown stripe decorated with bones. The Primal Egg is a limited-time item and cannot be obtained anymore unless reintroduced in future events.
This egg contains six unique pets, including the powerful and rare Divine Spinosaurus.
How to Get a Primal Egg
There were three main ways to obtain a Primal Egg during its availability:
- Trade Pets to Graham
After upgrading your DNA Machine to stage 4 by speaking to the Raptor NPC Barry, you could trade any non-dinosaur pet to Graham for a chance to receive 1–4 Primal Eggs. - Crafting a Primal Egg
Once the DNA Machine was upgraded, players unlocked the crafting recipe:- 1x Dinosaur Egg
- 1x Bone Blossom
- 5,500,000 Sheckles
- Crafting time: 30 minutes
- Purchase with Robux
A temporary Premium Primal Egg could be bought:- 1 Egg – 149 Robux
- 3 Eggs – 429 Robux

All Primal Egg Pets
Each Primal Egg contains one of the following six pets, each with its own unique abilities:
- Parasaurolophus (35%)
Reduces the open time of the cosmetic crate with the highest timer every 78.71 seconds. 25.96% chance to boost this effect by 1.87x. - Iguanodon (32.5%)
Boosts XP gain by +0.45 XP/s for all active Dinosaur-type pets. - Pachycephalosaurus (28%)
6.52% chance to duplicate any crafted item. - Dilophosaurus (3%)
Every 13 minutes and 52 seconds, spits venom on up to 3.33 pets, advancing their cooldown by 40.82s or granting 570.62 XP. - Ankylosaurus (1%)
When another player steals a fruit, there’s a 16.35% chance to also gain that stolen fruit back. - Spinosaurus (0.5%) – Divine
Every 19 minutes and 33 seconds, devours mutations from 3.84 fruits and spreads them to one random fruit in your garden, prioritizing favorited plants.
The Primal Egg was a highly sought-after item in Grow a Garden, offering powerful and rare pets with abilities that significantly impacted gameplay.
