How to Get Amber Spine in Grow a Garden

The Amber Spine is a mythical, multi-harvest crop introduced during the Pet Mutation Update on July 12th, 2025 in Grow a Garden. Originally released during the second week of the Prehistoric Event, this rare seed could be crafted or purchased with Robux—but has since become unobtainable through crafting.

This guide explains what Amber Spine looks like, its stats, and how to get it (or used to get it) through crafting.

Appearance

The Amber Spine seed is light beige with three peach-colored bones sticking out of its side, resembling a small prehistoric spine.
The produce is a pale cube encased in orange-colored amber.

Once grown, the Amber Spine crop displays several long, curved beige spines, each lined with peach-colored bones. The growing ends of these spines produce the final amber-covered fruit.

In Grow a Garden Pets, players can discover a variety of rare and mythical crops, including the legendary Amber Spine. This multi-harvest plant, with its beige spines and amber-covered fruit, adds a unique visual flair to any garden. By carefully crafting the seed from ingredients like cactus, pumpkin, and horsetail, players can enhance their collection of Grow a Garden Pets crops and enjoy the challenge of cultivating one of the most iconic plants in the game.

If you didn’t want to spend Robux, crafting was the primary method. Unlike many plants, Amber Spine seeds could not be purchased with Sheckles from any shop.
